Your preparation before the appointment
Complete these steps yourself before the cleaning visit. Packing, moving belongings and arranging access are separate from the room cleaning you order.
- Remove personal belongings, furniture and loose trash.
- Keep water and electricity active through completion.
- Confirm parking, building entry, elevators and loading rules.
- Share lockbox, key, gate or concierge instructions securely.
- Identify any deadline for keys, inspection or property handoff.
Room-by-room cleaning checklist
Use this list to review the rooms in your approved cleaning scope. If you are cleaning yourself, it can guide your final pass after the belongings are out. If you are hiring Pristine Ritual, confirm the room work and extras in the request rather than assuming every task is included.
Kitchen
- Your preparation: remove food and personal items from counters; empty any appliance or cabinet interiors you want to add to the scope.
- Room cleaning to review: counters and sink, stovetop and appliance exteriors, and appropriate floor care.
- Only if selected: refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and cabinet interiors.
Bathrooms
- Your preparation: remove toiletries, towels and loose belongings so surfaces are accessible.
- Room cleaning to review: bathroom sanitation, mirrors and appropriate floor care. Flag buildup before scope approval.
Bedrooms, living areas and connecting spaces
- Your preparation: remove furniture, personal belongings and loose trash; identify any pre-existing damage or delicate surfaces.
- Room cleaning to review: reachable surfaces and touchpoints, vacuuming and appropriate mopping, trash removal and room reset.
- Only if selected: interior windows, blinds detail, door or wall spot-cleaning, and patio or balcony care.

Choose the interior add-ons
Do not assume every empty-home service automatically includes the inside of appliances or cabinets. Select the refrigerator, oven and cabinet interiors if the property requires them. Interior windows, blinds and patios may also need separate scope.
At completion
- Confirm all approved rooms and add-ons were addressed.
- Review any exclusions or pre-existing damage notes.
- Verify doors and windows are secure.
- Confirm how keys, fobs or codes are returned or closed.
- Keep the completion record for your handoff.
What is not move-out cleaning?
Construction debris, hazardous materials, pest or mold treatment, exterior work and restoration are outside a normal residential cleaning scope and should be arranged separately.
